Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl commented on Matthijs de Ligt's imminent transfer to Manchester United, stressing that nothing new had happened.
Manchester United wants to sign De Ligt this summer, as there is still a dispute between the two clubs over the financial compensation for the deal.
Eberle said in press statements: “I will comment on his imminent transfer to Manchester United when the time comes.”
“It is not time yet. He played here for two years and performed at exceptional levels and that is why the fans love him. However, you have to think about many decisions and also see what the player feels and wants. He is still our player and he will continue to have our support.”
